Most of the materials that we use can find a new a life when they have fulfilled their original purpose. Instead of trashing that yogurt container or those electronic motors make them into something creative or useful. Along the way take a few things apart and see what is inside them and how they work, then turn the into something new!

Discover which animals live in ponds, and see pond animals up close from our Animal Discovery Room. In our outdoor pond, we will catch crayfish with poles and nets.

Water makes up the majority of our planet's surface but the water we want is not always where we need to use it. Investigate how pumps and valves work and design a valve to take home.

Family Ingenuity Workshop: Cooking with the Sun

Fun sun-activities include solar cooking, generating electricity with solar cells, and conducting experiments to discover how sunlight can heat water and warm homes
