Center for Research, Evaluation, and Assessment (REA)

REA at LHS provides research-based analysis to support the need for organizations serving K-12 students and teachers involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (the STEM disciplines) to document and evaluate their efforts. REA’s work addresses three broad areas:

  • conducting and monitoring research in the fields of mathematics and science education,
  • evaluating the success of both LHS and other programs,
  • and developing assessments to measure program outcomes.

We have extensive experience conducting research and evaluation in afterschool settings and programs.

For more information contact David Goldstein or Bernadette Chi, or visit the Center for Research, Evaluation and Assessment (REA) website.
