Math Around the World
Travel the world—the world of mathematics! Enjoy the games played 'round the world and across the centuries at
Math Around the World

, an LHS exhibition that presents math with a multicultural perspective. Play the world's most popular games, including Hex, Kalah, Game Sticks, Shongo Networks, and more.

Math Rules!

Contrary to some popular opinions, we think math is challenging, engaging and just plain fun. The proof is in our assortment of hands-on puzzles and activities for all ages. Building, counting, weighing, predicting, sorting, and comparing will stretch your mathematical thinking and multiply your enjoyment..

KidsLab

Put your arms around the colorful, larger-than-life (if you're a kid) blocks and shapes. Stack 'em, connect 'em, build with 'em! KidsLab also includes a mirror labyrinth, crawl-through kaleidoscope, the popular Gravity Wall, a puppet theater, and a reading area.

This area of 800 square feet is a multi-sensory play area designed just for the youngest visitors. Children in kindergarten and younger have this play area all to themselves. It's an informal learning space where young children encounter fundamental science concepts and early scientific process skills.

KidsLab signage is in both English and Spanish.
