Professional Development

MARE offers challenging, year-round professional development opportunities based on the most up-to-date scientific and educational research. Among our offerings are the Summer Leadership Institute, a series of Saturday Workshop Series, on-site Ocean Immersion coaching, whole-school inservice, and consulting, scheduling and planning (CSP) days.

In addition to learning how to implement the MARE program, participants will engage in hands-on activities, practice a variety of teaching strategies, receive exciting materials, and review a host of audiovisual and resource materials to help them with their science teaching.
