Enter the domain of the research scientist and the inventor

A group of hands-on exhibits including a flow tank, rope puzzles, the mysterious floating magnets, and the activity station.

At the popular activity station, Cal student facilitators are on hand to guide visitors through an array of ever-changing activities that challenge the mind and baffle the senses. Every day at least three different hands-on activities are highlighted with a half dozen more available on request.

The activity station menu:
Hoop gliders, paper chromatography, Legos, the size wheel, tangram puzzles, or thaumatropes. For the younger visitor there are 3-D building blocks, spinning tops, paper copters, and more.
