NanoZoneDeveloped by Lawrence Hall of Science, this permanent exhibit is one of the first of its kind that explores cutting-edge nanotech developments, and introduces the scientists on the forefront of nanotechnology research. Visitors can “step into the pages” of Nanozone Magazine, and find out about the smallest of the small, like split hairs on a gecko’s toes, tiny wires built by viruses, spider spinnerets and much, much more. They’ll learn how nanotechnology researchers work in the world of the ultra small, and have fun solving new challenges the way scientists do. To do in NanoZone:
The NanoZone exhibit at the Lawrence Hall of Science is an experimental project focused on engaging and informing the public about the leading edge of scientific research in Nanotechnology. Supported by the National Science Foundation, the exhibit combines interactive demonstrations, on-floor physical exhibits, and computer-only components using animation, virtual characters, and educational games. |
