Spherecast

Spherecasting is a new capability of the Science On a Sphere® visualization systems located around the globe. A lecturer spherecasting from one site controls all participating networked spheres, allowing for audiences in multiple locations to visualize animations of the planet together virtually. On April 1, 2009 Lawrence Hall of Science was the first site to host a Spherecast outside of the Boulder Laboratory of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) who developed the system.
