“The staff at LHS camp are amazing…They listened for feedback and shared little stories about the kids’ days. Couldn’t be happier with such a magnificent team.”

“High-level and FUN STEM programming. Relatable staff and educators.”
“My son loved it. He was sad when it ended. Every day he came home happy and excited to talk about the day’s activities.”
“I knew she had an excellent day every day when she came home bubbling with facts that she learned that day and stories about what happened at LHS. Thanks for creating such an amazing environment for learning. I wished all students would be able to experience some of what she did during her time at LHS.”
“Kind and welcoming instructors who truly love what they are doing. A quality educational program. Convenient timings. What’s not to love?”
Our online programs bring many of the key elements of in-person instruction to the virtual learning world: personal attention, a low staff-to-participant ratio, serious science learning, lots of hands-on fun, and interaction with other participants.
The online instructors are museum educators from The Lawrence. We maintain a low staff ratio of 1:6, which encourages their engagement with participants.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Joanna, Director, at lhscamps@berkeley.edu
Make sure your shipping address is the same as the one you entered when completing registration. Our shipping time line ensures that the materials box should arrive by Monday of the week before your program. If you have not received materials by that day before 4 p.m., please contact us, and we will work with you to remedy.
When you open the materials box, please review the enclosed packing list to make sure that all the listed contents are present. If something is missing or arrives broken, please let us know by the Monday before your program and we will work with you to remedy.
Please refer to the corresponding program description, as each program is different. Typically, you should be collecting recycled materials for construction and making sure you have a clean designated work space.
While all programs are carefully designed to be age-appropriate, some programs may require limited help from an adult to check the packing list and to help with setup. Please note that children younger than the age range of the program should never handle program materials. Parents are required to be onsite while children are participating in the program.
