Are you thinking about a future in science or technology? Coding is a key skill in many science-related careers, and this program will show you how it’s used to solve real-world problems. You’ll learn to use coding tools to explore and make sense of the massive amounts of data scientists collect about our planet. Each day, we’ll dive into environmental science investigations and tackle programming challenges that will teach you Python and how to analyze data related to global issues. You will gain valuable coding and data analysis skills, and experience creating and presenting your own data visualization of a global phenomenon. Parents are invited at 3 p.m. on the last day for teens to share their projects.
