Entering 10 – 12

UC Berkeley Campus Residential Package

Teens entering grades 10–12 have two options to participate in Teen Research Programs on the UC Berkeley campus: as a commuter joining us every day on campus and sleeping at home, or as a campus resident, which includes housing and meals for an additional cost. The Residential Package runs Sunday, June 11 through Friday, June 16 and can be purchased only in conjunction with the purchase of the following programs: Bioinspired Design, Biotech Genetics, or Science of Social Media and Attitudes. Spaces in the Residential Package may sell out and are limited to first come, first served.

Located just three blocks from campus in a lively area, Unit 2 is a complex of six buildings built around a large courtyard.

Campus Accommodations

UC Berkeley campus offers historic architecture, redwood forests, and walking paths that connect the campus buildings. The sunshine is as plentiful as the beauty.

Participants choosing the residential option will enjoy extracurricular activities in diverse meeting spaces, sleeping accommodations with no more than three teens to a room, and dining services, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Student resident assistants (RAs) will provide oversight for residential participants. All RAs are UC students with residential leadership experience on campus. They are trained in extracurricular and social activity facilitation and go through an extensive interview process and background check.

More information and a packing list will be emailed to you before the start of the program.
