The Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) program provides cutting-edge biotechnology laboratory activities and real-world applications for high school biology classrooms. This two-day, weekend workshop for high school teachers covers the Abridged Series of the ABE curriculum, including an introduction to micropipettes and gel electrophoresis, plasmid digestion, confirmation of digestion via electrophoresis, and bacterial transformation.
