A FREE webinar series designed to inspire and support 3rd – 12th grade teachers to use mapping tools to build spatial literacy, investigate environmental justice and design student-led action projects for the classroom, under the guidance of experts from UC Berkeley.

  • Hear from a secondary teacher using ArcGIS in the classroom who will describe her learning goals, student learning and design and implementation challenges.
  • Receive a guiding roadmap document for planning how to use Arc/GIS for specific topics.
  • Use a core NGSS idea progression (3-12) and associated mapping resources, to brainstorm and outline initial implementation ideas with others in your grade band.

March 8, 2022

  • Learn how to use ArcGIS Storymaps to support students to share information and analyses.
