Exhibit
A playful space for kids aged 2-6 and their adults. Come in, stay curious, and let the adventures begin!
Embark on a journey of wonder and discovery as you create dazzling patterns, intricate shapes, and fascinating designs. Uncover the marvels of light by changing the direction of beams and watch everyday objects transform as they shimmer, glow, or flash. This playful experience will inspire curiosity in your children and ignite your own as light sparks imaginations.
Inspired by Ohlone ways of knowing, A Walk in the Woods invites young explorers and their adults to see nature in a new way—where animals and plants have their own personhood, names, and stories. Use binoculars to spot hidden creatures, examine tiny wonders at various levels of magnification, build models of feathers with unique materials, and bring woodland animals to life through imaginative play. These sensory-rich activities will pique your curiosity, hone your observation skills, and inspire a deeper appreciation for your connection to nature.
