Proof of Vaccination for Innovations & Inspirations 2022

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be vaccinated to attend?

Yes, you must be vaccinated to the full extent possible (i.e. have received a COVID-19 booster at least 14 days prior to the event).

Will I be required to show proof of vaccination?

Yes, we will be checking the vaccination status of attendees before allowing entry.

What are acceptable methods of proof of vaccination?

All methods will require you to show your photo ID. The following methods of proof of vaccination are acceptable:

  • Vaccination Card issued by the CDC or a foreign government that includes the name of the person vaccinated, the type of vaccine, and the date(s) of administration.
  • A clear, legible photo or copy of a Vaccination Card (a photo on your phone is acceptable).
  • Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider.
  • A green Campus Access Badge via the UC Berkeley Mobile app (for UC Berkeley faculty, staff, and students).
  • A personal digital COVID-19 vaccine record issued by the State of California, or similar documentation issued by another state, local, or foreign government.

UC Berkeley does not promise or guarantee that all guests or employees on site are vaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals may be present as a result of exemptions, exceptions, fraudulent verification, or checker error.  None of these precautions eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
