Ever wonder what makes your favorite toy work? In this program, you will explore what makes toys and simple machines do what they do. Together we will investigate toys so we can design, build, and test our own creations. During the program you will use your creativity to transform recycled materials into a take-home toy with moving parts. You will gain basic understandings of the engineering design process as well as mechanics of motion, levers, linkages, and electricity. This program includes visits to science center exhibits.

Are you inspired by the many wonders of nature and wildlife? In this program, you will explore patterns in nature, develop new ideas, and create art of your own from natural materials. Together we will explore the colors, shapes, and structures of living and nonliving things. During the program we will enjoy time outdoors observing, investigating, and creating art and crafts. You will gain skills to scientifically explore the natural world through noticing, wondering, and making connections.

What does it take to land a human on the moon? In this program, you will design, plan, and execute a mock mission to explore the Moon. Together we will build and launch rockets, investigate the invisible force of gravity, and discover what we need to survive on our Moon. During the program you will learn about space and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between Sun, Moon, and Earth.
