Three week IN PERSON camp at The Lawrence
Constructing CoastersAre you ready to take your design and engineering skills to the next level? In this program, you will design, build, and test coasters. Together we will work through daily engineering challenges. You will learn the basics of physics fundamentals and how to analyze static and dynamic forces.
Coding for Space ExplorationAre you excited about space sciences and interested in computer programming for real-life applications? In this program, you will build a model satellite, rover, or probe and code it to function on different missions in space. Together through daily challenges, you will learn block-based programming, become familiar with the iterative design process, and deepen your knowledge of the solar system.
Medical MysteryHave you ever wondered how scientists treat mysterious medical maladies? In this program, you will take on the role of medical practitioners with fictitious patients exploring the human body, diagnosing diseases, and prescribing treatment. Together we will explore how daily decisions you make affect your well-being. You will gain new tools, knowledge, and skills that real practitioners use in the field.
