Are you considering a path toward a climate-related field? In this Teen Research Program, you will explore how today’s scientists rely deeply on computer programming to better understand and explain climate change. Together we will conduct investigations related to the environment and take on programming challenges designed to help you learn Python and analyze data. Each group will have the unique opportunity to create and present its own data visualization of a global climate phenomenon on our Science On a Sphere® (SOS) exhibit. You will gain skills and knowledge about climate change and coding, while adding valuable experience to your college application or career path. No prior programming knowledge or experience is required.
