Alex Sanchez (she/they) supports evaluation and research studies through study design, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination. She comes to the Research Group with years of experience and interest in formal and informal STEM education. In particular, they are interested in grassroots and community-led science education that centers marginalized communities, community knowledge, and pluralist science. Before joining the Research Group, they worked as an outdoor educator in Northern California and a research assistant on a qualitative study of BIPOC experiences with COVID contact tracing. She received a BA in Biology from Pomona College.
