Chris Ziska (he/him) is the Program Lead for the Outdoor Nature Lab, an exhibit space within The Lawrence Hall of Science (Berkeley, CA) that is focused on connecting visitors to green spaces through positive outdoor experiences and fostering relationships with the natural world. His professional focus at The Lawrence is on finding novel, accessible entry points for guests to practice and enjoy outdoor exploration. He comes to the Center for Environmental Learning bringing over 10 years of experience teaching informal science education in National Parks around the United States. Chris’s passion for environmental education developed at an early age, when his parents’ desire to always hike, camp, and explore nature centers filled all available free time. While outside of work, Chris enjoys his other two passions in life- cooking homemade meals for his wife and watching the newest movies in the cinema. He holds a B.A. in Zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University (2012) and an M.A. in Biology from Miami University (2016).
