The Lawrence
On-The-Go

The Lawrence On-The-Go aims to broaden participation by providing programs that are accessible, experiential, relevant and where people are—in their communities.

The Lawrence On-The-Go team is at a community event facilitating science activities

Our Mission

The primary goal of The Lawrence On-The-Go is to engage youth, families and communities in high quality and meaningful science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) engagement opportunities. We aim to connect communities with The Lawrence’s programs and experiences, with an emphasis on engaging communities that are under-resourced and underrepresented. By providing programs that are local, culturally responsive and steeped in the practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion, we will provide opportunities for rich community connections, positive experiences with STEM content, increased science identity and pathways for additional sources of engagement with The Lawrence.

The Lawrence On-The-Go provides activities and programs at schools, community events, family events, summer programs, community based organizations and out-of-school-time organizations in the neighboring Bay Area counties.
