Explore our Summer Camp offerings for 2022 featuring a range of engaging science topics for campers entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. These summer camp programs are organized into two-week sessions in order for learners to explore content more deeply, build a better sense of community among the participants, and fully enjoy all that the science center has to offer.
We are thrilled to share our offerings for Summer 2022 for students entering grades 10, 11, and 12. Our ten options feature a range of topics across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as other STEM learning and teaching elements. Each program is unique in content, context, and setting, yet all are similar in design principles. We aim to offer the best hands-on science learning, real-life applications, and true research experience.
February 2022 - August 2022
The Teen Internship Program is a great opportunity for teens entering grades 10, 11, and 12 who have a passion for science and enjoy working with youth. Those accepted into the 6-month internship will participate in both the Workshop Trainings—a series of professional workshops—before summer begins, and the Summer Placement—a summer science-educator role. Interns will gain practical skills, knowledge, and tools to facilitate fun, engaging, and meaningful hands-on science learning for youth.
Application is now closed! Thank you, we have received many high quality applications and are looking forward to a great summer Teen Internship Program.
The Lawrence is dedicated to providing access to youth of all backgrounds and offers financial aid to families who otherwise lack the resources to participate.
The Financial Aid application has closed. Awardees will be notified starting February 2nd and then registration for awardees will be open until February 14th, 2022.
