Megan Goss, EdD, is a Senior Research and Curriculum Specialist for the Learning Design Group at The Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley. Megan attended the School of Education at UC Berkeley where she received a doctorate in Language, Culture, and Literacy. As a graduate student, she taught several undergraduate courses and ran programs to support students’ literacy development in local elementary and middle schools. Prior to her graduate studies, Megan taught a wide variety of students in K–8 classrooms. As part of the Learning Design Group, she led the curriculum development for Amplify Science’s approach to argumentation and participated in several argumentation-focused grants, in addition to the DiALoG grant.
