Vanessa brings deep expertise in K-12 STEM systems change, equity-centered leadership, and professional learning that helps districts bridge from vision to classroom practice. Her work focuses on building district capacity for STEM education while advancing learning environments where all students can see themselves as capable STEM thinkers and problem solvers.

Dr. Crystal Menzies brings a scholar-practitioner perspective rooted in asset-based research, curriculum design, and professional learning to the AI K-12 Network team.
Eric Greenwald, PhD, leads projects that advance research, learning design, and systems change at the intersection of science, math, computational thinking, and AI. In particular, he studies how learning can be designed toward a more robust and equitable socio-technical understanding of AI systems that better positions learners for criticality and agency in a world we are increasingly living together with AI.
Diana Vélez is a professional learning specialist and curriculum developer. Her area of expertise is equity in science teaching and learning and content integration. For the AI K-12 Network, Diana brings her many years of experience working with district leadership teams to co-design equitable, robust, and practical improvement plans.

Ms. Pedemonte brings many years of experience working with district leadership teams to examine STEM pathways and student learning experiences, opportunities, and outcomes. Her expertise is in supporting pre-service and in-service K-12 educators and leaders to build agency and capacity to support systems change in STEM.
