As the Head of Facilities & Security, Cory oversees daily facility operations and construction projects, along with the Information Technology, Production Studio and Prep Hub departments. All of these teams work directly with, and support, the various teams throughout The Lawrence. Since starting at The Lawrence in 2019, Cory has managed a number of improvement projects throughout the building that include the renovation of the two main public floors, the construction of the Outdoor Nature Lab and the planetarium theater. In addition to his responsibilities at The Lawrence, Cory oversees facility related projects for the University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley. Cory started at UC Berkeley in 2011. Prior to working at The Lawrence, he has worked in alumni affairs, admissions, construction and broadcast media.
