Evaluation 101: Designing Towards Your Goals

Is your organization ready to start measuring its impact but not sure where to begin? Or do you have a system in place that isn’t working with the organizational goals, values, time, and capacity you actually have? This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of program evaluation for education organizations – from residential outdoor schools to citizen science programs. You’ll learn how to build a logic model, design a realistic evaluation plan, and set up simple systems for collecting and using data that minimizes burden on staff and community members as much as possible.

No prior evaluation experience required! Just bring your program and your questions. Walk away with practical tools and a clear first step toward understanding the impact of your programs.
