We help education systems align strategy, leadership, and professional learning so strong ideas become sustained practice across classrooms, schools, and organizations.
Strengthen coherence across science, STEM, mathematics, and AI literacy priorities. We help districts, county offices, state agencies, and networks turn broad goals into clear strategy, implementation structures, and sustained improvement.
Support leaders at every level, from district and site administrators to instructional leaders and cross-functional teams. Our cohort-based learning, facilitation, and strategy sessions help leaders guide improvement with clarity, alignment, and shared direction.
Engage educators in high-quality professional learning that is content-rich, practice-based, and connected to system goals. We design experiences that strengthen teaching, support equitable instruction, and help strong ideas take hold across classrooms and schools. <!– wp:paragraph –>
Home // Services at The Lawrence Hall of Science //
<!– /wp:paragraph –>
We combine deep expertise in PK-12 learning, content-rich professional learning, leadership development, and systems change. That allows us to support both the design of improvement efforts and the real work of carrying them out.
Many systems are doing important work, but still face familiar barriers. We support partners who want stronger alignment, clearer implementation, and better conditions for meaningful improvement over time.
Partnerships for districts, agencies, and networks
Work with us on strategy sessions, leadership series, implementation support, and professional learning design that strengthen district and agency capacity.

[The Center] has provided teachers with invaluable training that they can directly infuse into their classroom instruction and planning. Teachers have had opportunities to become teacher leaders. These teachers have taken on leadership roles to provide staff development opportunities in our district and have mentored other teachers with the transition to NGSS. Furthermore, our work with [the Center] has provided us with opportunities to network and learn from best practices from other districts and key people within the science community. It has been an incredible journey, and I hope we can continue it!”District Leader

“[The Center for K-12 Science] gives voice to science…It has provided our district with a vision of and mission for science. This helps us to have discussions about the coordination of professional development, distribution, and management of science materials, and a shared understanding of best practices for NGSS. In these ways, it is making a difference.” District Leader
