Augmented Reality (AR) is an increasingly popular educational technology in museum spaces that blends virtual and real-life experiences. A challenge for exhibit designers is that the technology often lends itself to individualized experiences that can limit learning conversations among multigenerational visitor groups. We share key insights from our study of an AR exhibit designed to support family learning conversations. Time TBD.
