• In a recent RAND report, 20% of principals reported that most students were receiving fully in-person instruction; 33% reported fully remote instruction, and 47% reported using a hybrid model.
• We also know that many secondary students have elected to participate in fully remote instruction.
• According to teachers (RAND), students are less prepared to participate in grade-level work and teachers providing remote instruction have a particular need for more supports, including for students from vulnerable populations and a need for strategies to help students catch up to grade level.

On December 14th, we will take a look at the recent findings on remote teaching with the purpose of discussing and considering shifts that support deeper science learning. This webinar is intended for all high school science educators and for anyone who is interested in supporting high school science programs. Registration is required.
