After two years, the Bay Area Science Festival’s Discovery Day at Oracle Park is back! Our Science at Cal team will be there with Brain Games: see how our complex human brains can be fooled with just a few sheets of paper and movement! And you can find The Lawrence On-The-Go team in the Chevron STEM Zone helping visitors design their own Artbots. These simple machines can draw. How does changing energy sources, weights, motors, and markers change the drawing?
This family-friendly celebration of science and technology will feature hundreds of hands-on activities! Meet scientists and engineers (and robots) from around the Bay Area. Stop by and say hello to our Science at Cal and The Lawrence On-The-Go teams.
Note: Attendees 5 and up need to show proof of vaccination (initial series is sufficient). A negative PCR test result from the past 48 hours is accepted instead of vaccination. Masks are required in all indoor spaces of the ballpark and are recommended outside.
