Three week IN PERSON Camp at The Lawrence
Dinosaur DetectivesAre you curious to know what it was like to roam the Earth millions of years ago? In this program, you will explore the latest discoveries, investigate unsolved mysteries, and dig up and piece together a puzzle of dinosaur bones. Together we will uncover fossil clues to learn about powerful predators and the spectacular range of their preys’ dazzling defenses. Inspired by these discoveries, you will sculpt prehistoric creatures with features that help them survive the prehistoric world. This program is designed as a full-day experience at The Lawrence and includes visits to museum exhibits. Get ready to “dig” into a week of exciting dino discoveries!
Nature ExplorersEver wonder where animals go to bed at night? In this program, you will explore, investigate, and discover what animals need to live and make their homes. Together we will fine-tune observational skills both indoors and outdoors. You will create animal habitat models to take home and see how human needs are similar to those of our animal friends. This program is designed as a full-day experience at The Lawrence and includes visits to museum exhibits. Come explore your furry, scaly, and feathered friends with us this summer!
Slime InvestigatorsHave you ever wondered what things are made of? In this program, you will observe, investigate, experiment, and compare properties of matter. Together we will get messy with solids, liquids, gases, and more. You will gain a basic understanding of states of matter and phase changes. This program is designed as a full-day experience at The Lawrence and includes visits to museum exhibits. Whatever “state” you’re in now, we hope to see you at camp this summer!
