Juan Villalobos Juan Villalobos is a data scientist and analyst from San Jose, CA. He studied Machine Learning at UC San Diego, and since then he's taken on a mix of roles, helping small business owners make sense of their data, and contributing to projects across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and marketing along the way. He enjoys the puzzle side of data work, finding the story buried in a messy spreadsheet or a database. When he's not at a screen, you'll probably find him on a hiking trail, learning new tools, and exploring new foods. Alongside his work, he values getting outside and staying curious. Mark Kamuya Mark Kamuya is a Computer Science student at Minerva University, where he focuses on artificial intelligence and mathematics. He has worked as a software engineering intern at a stealth startup and conducted AI safety research at Minerva University, contributing to projects involving simulation systems, data pipelines, and geospatial mapping. His interests center on computational problem-solving and the use of machine learning and algorithms to understand and improve real-world systems. In his spare time, he enjoys solving puzzles and reading history. Rishi Yang Rishi Yang is a computer scientist interested in probability and sustainability. During his computer science degree at UC Berkeley he concentrated on applied mathematics and AI. He has interned at Sandia National Labs studying an optical computer, and worked for a Geoscience-AI startup predicting geothermal energy potential. He also has a passion for youth STEM education. He is currently a Berkeley resident, though he grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico, and he enjoys soccer, reading, and drinking tea.
