Mahimna Vyas Mahimna Vyas is a dedicated science educator with a strong academic foundation in physics, mathematics, and philosophy, having earned her degree with honors in all three disciplines. She is deeply committed to both scientific inquiry and effective teaching, currently instructing high school students in physics, chemistry and mathematics. In her classroom, she emphasizes making complex concepts clear, engaging, and relevant to students’ everyday experiences. Beyond teaching, Mahimna has contributed to cutting-edge research through her involvement with the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) collaboration. She has participated in international scientific efforts and presented her work at professional conferences, including the APS Meeting. Her academic interests include experimental particle physics, quantum mechanics, and science education, with a particular focus on helping students connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications and future career paths. Outside the classroom, Mahimna enjoys exploring philosophy, reading, and astronomy, often spending time observing the night sky through a telescope. Heidi Pico Heidi Pico is an applied mathematics and physics student at UC Berkeley, where she transferred from Diablo Valley College. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys backpacking through the outdoors, playing tennis, and spending time at the beach.
