Our newly renovated lobby tells the human story of science in the Bay Area. Explore the knowledge and traditions of the East Bay Ohlone people, learn about our namesake E.O. Lawrence, and get to know scientists making a difference in their communities.

Meet The Lawrence researchers and educators who are developing new exhibits, studying science education, supporting educators, and advocating for high quality science learning experiences for all.
A free shuttle will run from the Downtown Berkeley BART station to The Lawrence all day. The shuttle will run in a continuous loop between the Downtown Berkeley BART station and The Lawrence. To catch the shuttle from BART, wait for the shuttle at the Bear Transit Shuttle Stop on Shattuck Ave in front of Sliver Pizzeria. Look for a black shuttle bus from True Elegance.
