Could humans really live on Mars? In this camp, 5th and 6th graders take on the challenge of planning the first journey to the Red Planet. Campers will explore what it takes to survive on Mars by designing and testing systems for water, oxygen, and warmth. They’ll also build and drive a model rover to collect samples from the Martian surface. Along the way, they’ll separate science from science fiction, investigate what makes a planet habitable, and practice real engineering skills used by space explorers today. Perfect for future scientists and engineers ready for an out-of-this-world challenge!
