Playtopia JuegolandiaDaily, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
We’re revamping our Young Explorers Area! The newly renovated exhibit for our littlest visitors is now called Playtopia Juegolandia. Stop by to experience some of your old favorites, like the pinwall and wind tunnel, and to explore new additions to the space.
Curiosity CornerDaily, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Bring your inquisitive little ones to this all-new child-centered exhibit for young explorers age 2-6! Curiosity Corner currently features Dance Into the Light, a playful exploration of color, light, and shadow. Make colorful patterns and unique shapes, and discover how light can transform everyday objects.
Winter Weeks Dino HuntDaily, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Get ready to embark on a museum-wide scavenger hunt! Stop by Dinosaur Lookout to grab your worksheet, then visit exhibits across The Lawrence in search of hidden dinosaurs. Then, complete a special activity at each exhibit. Once you’ve filled out your scavenger hunt, return to Dinosaur Lookout for your prize!
Members Only: Make Your Own FossilSundays During Winter Weeks, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Members can join us for a special fossil making activity on Sundays during Winter Weeks (12/22, 12/29, and 1/5). Discover how different types of fossils are formed, then create and decorate your own fossil to bring home!
2024 Grand FinaleDecember 31, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Can’t keep the kids awake till midnight? Join us for our annual family-friendly New Year’s Eve party! Bid farewell to 2024 and ring in 2025 with colorful confetti blasted from a confetti cannon. We can’t wait to celebrate together–with science!
